Little Red Cartoon - In the works!
June 22 2009
Hi Everyone!
Thanks for your fun responses to the new Debbie and Friends’ cartoons!
I’m happy to announce we have another cartoon in the works. This one based on our story song, “Little Red Riding Hood.” Here are some pictures of the characters in the story! (Can you name them?)
And… here is a rough draft of the movie. As before, this is just a sketch to give you an idea of what the movie will be like.
What do you think? Please send me your thoughts and ideas!
Your friend,
Debbie

We love it! Especially the background singers…and when the hunter joins the chorus. This is one of our favorite songs, too.
Wonderful! Can’t wait to see the finished product!!!
Debbie and Friends’ music is our family’s favorite!

Little Red Riding Hood - LYRICS
by Debbie Cavalier
Raise your hand if you know Little Red Riding Hood
She was walking all alone, through the woods
She came upon the wolf and they talked for a while
Grandma’s ill and I’m bringing her some pie.
“Nice to meet you!”, said the Wolf, then he ran away
Little Riding Hood continued with her day
She went to grandma’s house, but to her surprise
Grandma was the wolf dressed in disguise, and she said:
What big eyes you have!
The better to see you with, my dear
What big arms you have!
The better to hold you with, my dear
What big TEETH you have!
The better to EAT you with, my dear
Then the wolf jumped up, it’s understood
He gobbled up miss Riding Hood
Then the hunter was walking through the woods
Heard a cry it sounded just like Riding Hood
So, he went to Grandma’s house, and took a look inside,
Grandma was the Wolf dressed in disguise, and he said:
What big eyes you have!
The better to see you with, my dear
What big arms you have!
The better to hold you with, my dear
What big TEETH you have!
The better to EAT you with, my dear, well the
Hunter grabbed the wolf, and shook him good.
Out fell Little Red Riding Hood!
Well Little Miss Riding Hood
I don’t think that a youngster should
Go walking all alone, in the woods
So, hurry home
Don’t wander off alone
Cause you might see the Wolf, and you’ll say:
What big eyes you have!
The better to see you with, my dear
What big arms you have!
The better to hold you with, my dear
What big TEETH you have!
The better to EAT you with, my dear
The lesson learned, it’s understood
Don’t wander alone, walkin’ through the woods
The lesson learned, it’s understood
Don’t wander alone, walkin’ through the woods
thanks!! our troublesome part to listen to was “it’s understood” I don’t know why
thanks for taking the time of answering =)
Love what you do!
hello! I like your song very much Debbie. I work at school and at the moment I’m preparing a play. It’s about little red riding hood and i would be delighted if my children could sing your song. Is there any chance for you to send me only music without the words? I’d be so grateful if you could do so.
